About Nicholas
I am a fully qualified psychotherapist and registered member of the BACP. I offer both open-ended and time-limited treatment to individual adults.
Often childhood experiences, unconscious thoughts and conflicting inner forces can affect our mental well-being in a negative way, causing symptoms such as stress, anxiety, detachment or depression. Through exploring patterns of thought, feelings and relationships, both past and present, we can understand and resolve these issues leading to greater self-awareness, personal growth and change.
Together we will speak freely about whatever comes to mind and through the discussion of memories, fantasies and dreams we will aim to address defences and remove blockages that may have developed over time and are hindering your ability to feel whole and lead a fulfilling life.
I hold a masters degree in psychodynamic counselling and psychotherapy from Goldsmiths University of London and am a registered member of the BACP, meaning that I am part of an accredited body and adhere to their ethical codes of conduct and commitments to good practice.
I also practice at the Deborah Ubee Trust where I work with a wide range of clients, and I have been running local men’s talking groups for many years. I am available on Thursday afternoons and evenings.
Cost per 50 minute session: £80
